Happy Birthday King of Pop #MichaelJackson

Celebrate the King of Pop

Got To Be There

Solo debut album released Jan. 24 1972
As the first song to debut on Michael's solo album titled Got To Be There, the single became an immediate success. An instant classic Go To Be There is one of my favorite young Michael Jackson song that still warms people hearts today.

Rock With You

Album Off The Wall released Aug. 10 1979
During the disco era if you can't tell by the outfit, "Rock with You," is a smooth sounding song that critics praised. Alongside many classics off of the iconic album Off The Wall, "Rock with You" was named one of the biggest singles in 1980, according to billboard.

Human Nature

Album Thriller released November 30, 1982
Hands down the best album of probably the decade, Thriller solidified Micheal as the King of Pop. I really would put every song on Thriller on this list, but I chose "Human Nature." The song has been sampled multiple times, the vocals are absolutely amazing, and the instruments are breath taking.

Bad

Bad Album Released Aug. 31 1987
Who's Bad? Bad the title of both the single and album of Michael's fifth solo album, gave Michael an edge look in such a heated political era. The album as whole is great receiving rave reviews and topping the charts nationally and internationally.

Black or White

Dangerous album released Nov. 26 1991
With efforts in breaking all racial barriers, the lead single "Black or White" gave audience a rock n roll sound.

Scream

History album released Jun. 16 1995
Such a dynamic duo when Janet and Michael come together! The song Scream expresses chaos that everyone can relate to in some point of their life. I like the song because it makes me want to get up and dance.

You Rock My World

Invincible album released Oct. 30 2001
As the lead single off of Michael's tenth album "You Rock My World," received mixed reviews, critics saying the song lacked effort. While his R&B fans praised the single. This is R&B! I love the song.

Love Never Felt So Good

Xscape album released May 13 2014
Released after the King of Pop's death, "Love Never Felt So Good," makes you feel so good. The Xscape album was a great way to go out for the fans, solidifying the King's legacy to carry onto many more generations.
