Lamar's sudden reappearance after not making much noise in 2016 after his controversial Grammy performance  is revitalizing, because I began to think that his buzz depleted. Well I was wrong because the internet is going crazy over the new video "Humble," and I can't blame them. The video itself is very artistic and creatively arranged. Showing all of the elements that we're use to hearing from Kendrick, while continuing to focus on the message of the song. 1. Free Smoke & Grammy Although these songs have completely different arrangements on each album, they both share similar content and sounds. Free Smoke begins with the choir like sound that have become more popular in hip hop and leads into the natural base upbeat sound. Grammy just instantly goes into the upbeat tempo Drake flow on both songs are almost synonymous, but Free Smoke just isn't as catchy as Grammy. 2. First and foremost this years Oscars ceremony was one of the most just award shows in Oscar history, well in my opinion. Justin Timberlake kicked of the show with "Can't stop the feeling" off of Dream works " Trolls " soundtrack. After carefully analyzing several perspectives in attempts to develop a sound reason for the protest against Donald Trump as the new president, I found none. Actually thinking this hard brought me to the conclusion that these protesters are bored and want attention or to "feel" like they've made a difference. When in actuality they're exciting an inconclusive decision that should've been stopped before these results. Ultimately the people are responsible for not putting Donald Trump in his place during the time frame when he objected to Barack Obama's presidency. So why press the issue now? 1.
