    If you don;t know then now you should know of Ed Sheeran.  X released on June 20, 2014, debuting at #5 on Billboard, receiving amazing reviews from critics worldwide. I love the album! X displays true relate-able emotions, the beauty of this album has the ability to make you shed tears. Trust me I know!    
  3. Hozier - Hozier

    Iris rock star Hoizer voiced his lyrical ability with his self title album Hozier. Released on September 19, 2014 Hozier debuted at #2 on Billboard. Great album so unique! Hozier announced Take Me To Church as the lead single from the album. The song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Hozier's highest-charting single in the U.S. to date.
  4. J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hill Drive

    "You Ain't The God, Cole the God." Strong words set for a such a Cole album. Haha that's a double entredre, but yes, J. Cole released a monster hip hop album on December 9, 2014. Within less than a month of the 2014 Forest Hill's release, the album has sold over 300,000 copies.

    On March 3, 2014, the release of GIRL album solidified that this was Pharrell year. The leading single Happy stormed across the world as all ages and ethnicity enjoyed the song. Being main judge on the hit show, the voice, and having the single Happy featured on many movies. Pharrell is the "Man of the Year."

  6. Speaking of Man of the year, TDE's star, Schoolboy Q made his mark this year with the release of Oxymoron on February 25, 2014. Featuring label mate Kendrick Lamar, Oxymoron had no problem debuting at #1 on Billboard. Earning Schoolboy Q Grammy Nominations, Nice Work!

  8. R.I.P to the King of Pop, and with the release of Xscape on May 13, 2014, he reclaimed his position. Debuting at #2 on Billboard, Xscape spoke the mind of others and himself. Such a critical time to lose such an influential person. Forever loved.

Of course he's had a hell of a year being released from prison, the off and on between him and Karrueche, and the instagram/twitter blast. Chris Brown is entertaining, what will he do next?

    What away to begin Christmas Nicki! This year was filled with controversy between Nicki Minaj & Grand Hustle's Iggy Azaelia. Forbes crowned Iggy the leading female of hip hop, and well Nicki wasn't having that, proving she wasn't with the release of The Pink Print on December 12, 2014. Great album, if not the best from Minja, she's definitely stood her ground as the queen of hip hop!
