If I could hand Seth Rogen two Oscars for Sausage Party I would personally give him them for best comedy and best overall written story line. This animated adult comedy gets extremely direct when discussing controversial sensitive topics like sexuality, religion, race and cultural background. If you have strong belief in any kind of organized religion than you shouldn't watch the movie, because there's a 90% chance that you'll get offended. Sausage Party mocks the intelligence of people by using animation to interpret our current society. Each item in the grocery store represents a different race and ethic group which are separated by their location, beliefs, and cultural back grounds. The only unity shared among the different items are their idea of God and the organized religion. Although the items share separate but similar ideas regarding the Gods they all still believe in a "Great Beyond." The "Great Beyond" is a form of an after life, that on...

After carefully deliberating I've decided that the Wayans family are hilarious, but only when they're together. Think about it... Their best movies and sitcoms involve 3 or more Wayans, for example; Don't Be A Menace, White Chicks, In Living Color, Little Man, Scary Movie. I can go on but as for the solo projects, ehh not so much. Their recent movie 50 Shades of Black hit theaters yesterday and although I did share some laughs, I would've rather sat home and watched rerun episodes of The Wayans Brothers. Of course in 50 Shades the Wayans used their parody style of comedy to turn the "seriousness" of the original movie into pure comedy. However I think the trailer provides more than enough scenes that ultimately takes away from watching the movie, because you feel as if you've already saw it. I would've liked for the Wayans to be more creative with the comedy and not exploiting homosexuality as much. Yes, I understand as an avid Wayans viewer that Ma...

A stunning performance from Michael B. Jordan and the star studded cast as the Rocky franchise continues with Creed . Jordan plays Adonis Johnson the son of the deceased heavy weight champion Apollo Creed. Adonis carries his father passion for the sport, but wants to make a name of his own, so he travels to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia seeking support, training, and answers from the icon Rocky Balboa of course played by an old Sylvester Stallone. Eventually his secret gets out that he's the champ's son and is set for a match against the current heavy weight champion "Pretty Ricky" Colan, played by Tony Belew. What is set to be an easy match before Colan goes to prison quickly turns out to be a serious blow out.  Recently Stallone won a Golden Globe for his part in the film, which yes he deserved. However the Jordan isn't nominated for any awards for the film and I think this is ridiculous. He was the best actor in the entire franchis...

007 is back, well actually in this film they're deteriorating, Daniel Craig starred as James Bond, is ordered to stop any pursuits towards the Spectre organization.  A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of it to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. This is a great action film, as there are twist and turns around every corner. As soon as the intensity leveled, BAM! Here comes more. The story line was very detailed that captured the audience attention. How do I know? Well, I am not an action movie kind of person and I managed to enjoy the 3 hour long movie without falling to sleep. Craig was a good choice to depict the 007 character, very believable alongside the beautiful co-star Lea Seydoux, who plays Dr. Madeleine Swann. Swann is the daughter of a member of the Spectre organization, who parted ways from her fath...

I'm sure we've all seen the Disney movie Peter Pan, about a young orphan boy who has the ability to fly, never grows old and lives in a place called Neverland. In the original story Peter is fighting the pirate Captin Hook and falls in love with a human girl named Wendy, who eventually leaves Peter to live an ordinary life. Now in this movie the plot is entirely different, and Wendy isn't in the picture yet. Pan is the story about Peter, who's played by Levi Miller and how he got to Neverland to ultimately become the Peter Pan we all know. The villain is pirate Blackbeard played by Hugh Jackman, who's a pirate that collect orphans across the world and bring them to Neverland to mine in search of fairies and pickie dust. The pickie dust is what keeps you young, but like everything it wears off daily. Captin Hook and Peter meet as they both were miners who coincidentally had a niche for one another. Captin Hook who's played by Garrett Hedlund helps Peter in t...

The film stars  Sanaa Lathan , Michael Ealy , and  Morris Chestnut . Ealy and Lathan also served as executive producers on the film. The film was released in North America on September 11, 2015. This thriller leaves no surprises, twist, or turns. The trailer for The Perfect Guy is the essence of the movie. Watch the trailers a few times and you can guess the rest of the movie. The Perfect Guy lacked story dynamic and imagination, the movie was straight to the point. Sanna Lathan, who plays a success women named Leah, breaks up with Morris Chestnut who plays a successful man named David, and meets Ealy who plays a tech savvy career man named Carter Ducan all within the first 15 minutes of the movie. The first scene of the movie informs you of the couple relationship problems, and in the next sc...
