2 Sisters on top of the industry I finally listened to Solange's new album, Seat at the table . Yes, I know I'm late and many of you are probably saying "You sleep," but I wanted to be completely fare with my words. Like most people when you first hear Solanges' name,  Queen Beyoncé comes to mind, and soon after instant comparisons fuels the conversation. As a younger sister I can relate to persistent unintentional judgement from several angels both negative and positive. One moment someone is saying you're smarter than the other, and in the next skit they're expressing how you're existence obsolete. Yes, the challenges of not releasing your full potential, which is why I'm so proud of you for this album. Anyone with ears can hear that Seat at the Table is instrumentally crafted using strings and horns to build such a classic euphoric symphony. Solange talented vocals ranging  between Soprano and alto stands out through out the entire album. ...

Last night was the premier of the 2016 BET Awards that shook the entire internet from beginning to end. Beyonce's performance of her single freedom introduced the audience to an entire new meaning for the song. Originally the song expressed her captivity inside of her marriage, but last night with the help of political rapper Kendrick Lamar, Freedom is manifolded to the Black Lives Matter campaign.

Guess who's back? Well he never left in my opinion, but of course the Goat, HOV (Jay Z), with a few unexpected features released last week. I wouldn't be surprised if HOV decided to drop an album this year. His last album Magna Carter Holy Grail released in 2013, was a commercial success, going platinum before the album even came out. Yes, with the help of his T-mobile promotion deal, and Justin Timberlake featured on the lead single "Holy Grail." Although I loved the album and there were great songs, lyrically this wasn't what his true fans like to hear from him. However in Terror Squad's single " All the way up " HOV decided remix and bring the heat back. This is the classic New York sound, that hip hop listeners love to hear from New York natives. The beyhive is once again buzzing over Beyonce's premiers her sixth studio album Lemonade on HBO last night. Following an unexpected single "Formation" in February, Beyonce announced she would be releasing a visual album alongside a world tour. Although I've yet to see all of Lemonade, several clips have gone viral, completely taking over the entire internet. So far I've seen the visuals feature Tennis Champion, Serena Williams getting sexy and twerking. Hmm that's interesting, seems like Serena wants that A-list attention. However the focus of Beyonce's new album is what's stirring up all of the noise. The lyrics blantely states that her husband, Jay Z has cheated on her. If you haven't seen Beyonce's new Formation video, you've officially been sleep underneath a rock. The unexpected release took over the Internet instantly. Being released in the wake of her highly anticipated Super Bowl performance, the beehive stirred up more attention, talk about great management for the Queen. Maybe I love the video so much because I'm from New Orleans, but the video gives you more sass and independence than ever before. Beyonce goes back to her New Orleans and Houston roots with Formation, "Slay!"  Using Nola as the film location Bey addresses some political issues like; Hurricane Katrina, Trayvon Martin, and Black lives matter. The video repeatedly switches scenes one being Bey standing on a submerging police car in the flooded city and another is a child in a black hoodie dancing in front of armed cops. Denver Beats Carolina 24 - 10  A story book ending for Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. After overcoming the heat all year for suspicion of steroids usage, injuries, and questions of retirement, Manning delivers under pressure in order to earn his second super bowl win. Manning can now retire as a champ and future Hall of Famer.  From beginning to end this game appeared to be defensively controlled. Both teams forced unexpected turnovers. Overall Denver succeeded due to having a more effective offense and not making as many avoidable mistakes. Carolina I hate to say because I was rooting for them, but they played sloppy. Every time it felt like they were starting to build a little momentum they beat themselves with a stupid mistake, whether it was fumbling the ball or getting a false start penalty. VMA's  Highlights Nicki Minaj Anaconda Performance Words cannot really express this performance, the performance was almost identical to the official video, except the performance had more clothes and excluded the lap dance to Drake. Honestly I found the performance quite extreme but Nicki did rock the hell out of the stage.
