Receiving mixed reviews from the blogs to the audience, I wasn’t sure what to expect; however after carefully listening to the album I have to give it an 8 out of 10; the album delivers in diversity, content, and overall quality. Lil Wayne has always been creative in his delivery and flow but emphasizing on his lyrical abilities is a statement to the hip hop culture. As the creator of dominating almost a decade of hip hop by featuring and releasing the most music, allowed Wayne to shape the industry. On April 11, 2017 rapper and face of the Cash Money/Young Money business, Lil Wayne announced his recent signing to Roc Nation. After over a decade of rumors involving Wayne leaving Cash Money to sign with mogul Jay Z , the time has finally come. Here's a brief history of what has happened throughout the last 10 years of Lil Wayne and Jay Z's relationship.   First, Lil Wayne releases Tha Carter in 2004 with the hit single " Go Dj" which officially put Lil Wayne in competition to go mainstream. Lil Wayne is the most underrated influence of this generation. Ok, yes Weezy hasn't been the same since his incarceration, Wayne's music has been average and currently he's not a topic in most music conversations unless you're referring to "old Wayne." Somehow I've managed to adapt to the current Lil Wayne. I've accepted the fact that the old Lil Wayne will never come back, unless he's on a feature. He seems to have very solid features, but as for his own projects well that's a completely different story. No Ceilings 2 is similar to No Ceilings because it contains songs that Wayne remade to fit his character, alongside a couple of original pieces. However that's the only similarity. No Ceilings to many is consider Wayne best mixtape with songs like "I'm single" and "DOA," hands down classic, but No Ceilings 2 is the complete opposite. Yes, there are some good songs on No Ceilings 2 like "No Reason" which feature King Los, he snapped. No that doesn't mean the more titles you have determined your greatness, but a substantial amount of people should agree before calling you the greatest. Why? "Great" people influence more people and greater people. Great people skills ultimately are recognized before their name. For example; Michael Jordan is considered one of the greatest, and during his time I'm sure there was a person that could've beaten him, but that doesn't mean that they have more skills than Jordan. At.Long.Last.A$AP Well isn't this a surprise, A$AP Rocky decided to release his sophomore album Monday night. If anyone else was wondering where TF A$AP has been, now we know, making a good ass album. I'm sure my readers by now can tell that I'm a picky music listener. I only enjoy good music that has noticeable work and effort inside of the music. A$AP long story short you delivered. I've only listened to the album once so after a few more times I'm sure I'll update this post, but as for now ALLA is dopeness! The collaborations with Joe Fox give ALLA a nice in sync sound. ALLA also features the artist: Miguel, Lil Wayne, Future, Schoolboy Q, M.I.A., and more. Yes, the album has a lot of features, but all of the features are needed to build this sound. Young Thug just took to his Instagram a little while ago to reveal the release date and artwork for his highly anticipated  Carter VI  album. Going shirtless in front of a red backdrop, while the words Carter VI are coming from... for the cover, Thugger also wrote the caption “4/17”, indicating that the project will be dropping in only 10 days from now on the 17th. Am I the only one who finds this cover art sightly disrespectful? Yes, I could be over analyzing the art work, but placing the name right there seems like this is yet another shot at Lil Wayne, saying "F U" and "Suck this." However that's only my opinion.
