Reasons to Meditate

1. Meditation gives you a chance to relax.  By completely isolating yourself, you give yourself a chance to think without the influence of anything other than your own mind. Yes, it is possible for you to be able to meditate with others around you, but naturally if they're not participating, you can easily become sidetracked. There are people who can maintain focus while others are around doing other things, but it takes a lot of security, patience, and focus in my opinion.
