The series stars Glee actor and rapper Donald Glover aka "Childish Gambino" as Earn, a struggling ATL native who comes across the opportunity to improve his lifestyle through the music industry. Earn is the cousin of a local rap artist, Paper Boy who's at the beginning of what looks like a promising rap career, that Earn offers to manage in attempt to gain income.
