2 Sisters on top of the industry I finally listened to Solange's new album, Seat at the table . Yes, I know I'm late and many of you are probably saying "You sleep," but I wanted to be completely fare with my words. Like most people when you first hear Solanges' name,  Queen Beyoncé comes to mind, and soon after instant comparisons fuels the conversation. As a younger sister I can relate to persistent unintentional judgement from several angels both negative and positive. One moment someone is saying you're smarter than the other, and in the next skit they're expressing how you're existence obsolete. Yes, the challenges of not releasing your full potential, which is why I'm so proud of you for this album. Anyone with ears can hear that Seat at the Table is instrumentally crafted using strings and horns to build such a classic euphoric symphony. Solange talented vocals ranging  between Soprano and alto stands out through out the entire album. ...

Guess who's back? Well he never left in my opinion, but of course the Goat, HOV (Jay Z), with a few unexpected features released last week. I wouldn't be surprised if HOV decided to drop an album this year. His last album Magna Carter Holy Grail released in 2013, was a commercial success, going platinum before the album even came out. Yes, with the help of his T-mobile promotion deal, and Justin Timberlake featured on the lead single "Holy Grail." Although I loved the album and there were great songs, lyrically this wasn't what his true fans like to hear from him. However in Terror Squad's single " All the way up " HOV decided remix and bring the heat back. This is the classic New York sound, that hip hop listeners love to hear from New York natives. The beyhive is once again buzzing over Beyonce's premiers her sixth studio album Lemonade on HBO last night. Following an unexpected single "Formation" in February, Beyonce announced she would be releasing a visual album alongside a world tour. Although I've yet to see all of Lemonade, several clips have gone viral, completely taking over the entire internet. So far I've seen the visuals feature Tennis Champion, Serena Williams getting sexy and twerking. Hmm that's interesting, seems like Serena wants that A-list attention. However the focus of Beyonce's new album is what's stirring up all of the noise. The lyrics blantely states that her husband, Jay Z has cheated on her. Heavily Beyonce weighs in on dishonesty and deceit, that has caused her to threaten and contemplate divorce. Twitter and the beyhive members have gone crazy, just straight coming for Jay Z's throat.
