Denver Beats Carolina 24 - 10  A story book ending for Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. After overcoming the heat all year for suspicion of steroids usage, injuries, and questions of retirement, Manning delivers under pressure in order to earn his second super bowl win. Manning can now retire as a champ and future Hall of Famer.  From beginning to end this game appeared to be defensively controlled. Both teams forced unexpected turnovers. Overall Denver succeeded due to having a more effective offense and not making as many avoidable mistakes. Carolina I hate to say because I was rooting for them, but they played sloppy. Every time it felt like they were starting to build a little momentum they beat themselves with a stupid mistake, whether it was fumbling the ball or getting a false start penalty.
