This is the untold story of three brilliant African American women who were responsible for computing the launch of making John Glenn played by Glen Powell in 1962, the first astronaut to make a complete orbit of Earth. Starring Taraji P. Henson as Katherine Johnson, Hidden Figures breaks all barriers, during a time period where segregation was enacted and demonstrated throughout the entire movie. Empathy filled the theater while watching the film, only a person without a mother would lack compassion for what these women gone through in order to pursue their passion. Dorothy Vaughn played by Octavia Spencer and Mary Jackson by singer Janelle Monae are a perfect team, creating a sister like bond that's un breakable.
