Day 9 Ageism is a common discrimination often overshadowed, but I disagree with it completely. Every person is different, every spirit is unique, and ones mentality should not be measured next to another based on age. I am 21 years old, and yes I will say that I'm a more mature person than when I was a teenager, but I've also always been classified as an "old soul" or mature person growing up. Since birth people always thought I was the eldest out of my older sister and friends. My family always seemed to have given me more responsibility.  I believe in the phrase "old soul" because the body decays not the spirit, which means that some souls are older than others. It's like learning; some people understand certain things faster than others, so why life wouldn’t be seen in the same context?
