Welcome home, a slimmer Gucci Mane after a 3 years sentence in Atlanta's Federal prison, for pleading guilty to illegal gun possession by a felon, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and more. Already a felon, clearly this wasn't Gucci's first time in trouble with the law. Fans were surprised by the early release of Gucci and hours after rumors of an upcoming mixtape release has been in conversation. Lil Wayne is the most underrated influence of this generation. Ok, yes Weezy hasn't been the same since his incarceration, Wayne's music has been average and currently he's not a topic in most music conversations unless you're referring to "old Wayne." However Weezy's sound and untouchable work ethic is the origin of this can't actually sing but use auto tune in order to create a harmony on the song sound. Wayne just like Kanye, Tupac, and so many others has created a style that has influenced an entire generation whether they're aware of it or not. There's been an ongoing fight for custody over baby Future between singer Ciara and rapper Future. The pair called off their engagement months before the baby Future was born and a few me months after the child's birth is when Ciara began dating football player Russell Wilson. First and fore most, I would like to say that the picture you see above is the only picture I've ever seen with Furture and his son, but you can find several photos of Ciara, Russell and baby  Future. I'm saying this because since the split Future has made it vocally clear via Twitter that Ciara has withheld him from seeing his child and Ciara proved him to be right by filing for sole custody over baby Future. There are plenty of people who wish that their fathers were in their lives and to withhold the child this privilege based on your personal issues is unfair and ridiculous. This is the third mixtape from the rapper following his classic tape Acid Rap, once again Chance providing his uplifting artistic expression without being limited by the major labels. It's a little early to review so for now just listen, but I'm liking what I hear so far. (Review Update) After taking a good week to thoroughly enjoy Coloring Book by Chance, I realized that the title of the mixtape is perfectly cohesive to the sound. The mixtape portrays the advantage of independent freedom that Chance has over the mainstream artist. As we begin to close out the NBA playoffs entering into the finals and championship game, the topic of who's "The best player in the league" has become the center of the conversation. On May 10th, the NBA league announced that Steph Curry was unanimously voted as the most valuable player (MVP) in the NBA. Once this news was released it instantly went viral all over sports media, most people agreeing with the decision. Since then fans has made critical claims some ridiculous and others were reasonable. I've heard people refer to Stephen Curry as "the goat" (greatest of all time) comparing him to Michael Jordan even. First and foremost Stephen Curry is what I call a true point guard. He reads each position, pass, and shot thoroughly before just taking them. He has great game IQ without any question and knows when to shoot or pass. Throughout this decade I would say that the fascination with super hero movies has grown to new heights. The movies exhibits action and effects created with such hi tech equipment that we become absorbed by it, alongside of a great story line. In this new Captain America which released in theaters on Friday May 6, Marvel creates the ultimate fight between Captain America versus Iron Man, the lead characters in the Avengers movies. Competing against DC comic’s release of Batman VS Superman, Marvel's Civil War exceed all expectations, by fully developing a detailed story line and plot twist. I've yet to see Dawn of Justice so I won't be able to unbiased compare the two, but it's hard for me to see how the Justice League will be introduced as a sudden inclusion in the Batman series. As for Captain America Civil War all of the main characters connected explaining what drove them to this movie. Nothing was random and unfitting for the plot. Even as they introduced the sup

January 10, 1947 - May 2, 2016 Afeni Shakur, political activist, philanthropist, and mother of the late rapper Tupac Shakur passed at the age of 69. The Marin County Sheriff’s Department in California (in North San Francisco Bay Area) confirmed Shakur died late Monday night [May 2, 2016]. Officials have not released a cause of death. Born Alice Faye Williams in Lumberton, North Carolina in 1947, Shakur lived between New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Georgia and California throughout her life. She changed her name to Afeni Shakur when she joined the Black Panther movement. Things I would say to an ex? Hmm this is an interesting topic for me. Why? Well because I've only had 2 exes in my life so far and I've talked to them both after the breakup. My first ex I speak with more frequently, and I am straight forward with him. There's no holding back or biting my tongue when I am addressing him, because there's no reason to. Our current relationship is weird because we're far from friends, definitely do not see each other, and we sporadically stop talking for months. However we enjoy conversations with each other, he's like a fungus that I cut but grows back every season. So I guess I would tell him "what are you doing here, leave me alone and go away." Although I've said these exact words to him several times.  Now my second ex is a little more complicated, because our breakup was strange and a little more personal than the first, so it's not as easy for us to just converse.
