Bill Cosby Admits to Buying Quaaludes

Where Should the Finger Point

After months of investigating the allegations of Andre Constand, Friday Bill Cosby spoke on the allegations of drugging and raping women over decades ago. Here are some of the questions and answers during Cosby's interview with Good Morning America.

"When you got the Quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?" Troiani asked.
"Yes," Cosby replied.
"Did you ever give any of those young women the Quaaludes without their knowledge?" Troiani asked.
Cosby's attorney objected and told him not to answer the question.
While Cosby admitted that he acquired seven prescriptions of Quaaludes with the intent to give the sedatives to young women he wanted to have sex with, he has not admitted to actually drugging any of his accusers.
Headlines have gone crazy since the interview aired, some saying Cosby made a mistake by admitting to anything and others saying that he's turned his back on the African American community. What do you think?
I think Bill Cosby has dug his self a deeper hole by admitting to having quaaludes, because this puts shade on his entire character. We forget that quaaludes was a popular drug in the 70s, and that Bill never said he slipped them to the girls in order to have sex with them. He states that he had possession of the drug, partied with them, and gave them to women whom he had intercourse with. He never admits to the allegations and personally I don't think he's guilty of them.
Bill Cosby who has given us Fat Albert, The Cosby Show, A Different World and more positive images for the world to grow up with, is being accused of these horrific acts, and the media expects everyone to eat up this garbage. I understand that he's human, but this is simply he say she say. The media is tearing down another positive image for powerful black men, with the typical rape charges. Hey media can you get more creative next time? There are presidents with worse backgrounds and dirt that's swept under the rug, but does the press zoom into their lives? The answer is no. The black community hasn't turned our back on you Bill, because I know I haven't, stay positive Bill!
