Jaden Smith is the new face of Louis Vuitton's
womenswear campaign. The series of ads was shot by legendary photographer Bruce
Weber, with two of them debuting Sunday on the Instagram of LV's creative
director, Nicolas Ghesquière.
Clad in an embellished skirt, fringed top and moto
jacket that debuted during Paris Fashion Week -- and that we'd very much like
to get our hands on -- Smith looks at ease alongside the female stars
of the shoot. The 17-year-old, whose little sister Willow also just starred in a major fashion
campaign, has become known for breaking the norm with his sartorial choices. So if any guy is
going to star in a womenswear campaign, Smith is the perfect choice.
Fans are excited about Louie Vuitton's decision to
make Jaden the face, saying "so much respect for this guy." Others
are skeptical as of why boys/men should dress in girls/ women clothing to begin
with. I personally don't see anything wrong with Jaden wearing a skirt, because
Pharaohs are often depicted dressed in similar attire. The Pharaoh in
ancient Egypt was the political and religious leader of the
people and held the titles 'Lord of the Two Lands’ and 'High Priest of Every Temple’. The word, pharaoh is the Greek form of the Egyptian 'pero’ or 'per-a-a’,
which was the designation for the royal residence. The name of the residence
became associated with the ruler and, in time, was used exclusively for the
leader of the people. So maybe the meaning behind Jaden's skirt wear is he
considers himself a high public figure.
Growing up we all wanted to be a
Disney Princess, and now we can with LA Splash Cosmetics new lipstick line.
With the exception of princesses Snow White and Cinderella, the line features
12 of your favorite Disney princesses. Nala and Bella are representing the stand
out nude colors. Great idea, which all women can relate to, now all we need are
the popular Frozen characters; Elsa and Auna.

WHAT INSPIRED ME INTO CREATING YORKS PASSION
Co.?
Born
in Jamaica Queens but raised in a Muslim community in Brooklyn, Abdullah Thomas
has always had a business mentality. With an intelligent Mother who earned a living by selling Baked
Lasagna, Sliced Cake, Banana Pudding and Cold Beverages taught him the value of
money. Abdullah and his Sister eventually followed the business mentally by selling
Hair Barrettes, Accessories, and Action Figures.
Reuniting with Abdullah’s father his family decided to move down
south to Georgia, where he had the opportunity to build a relationship with his
father. Later finding out he was a lead Singer in a Band he
started called Passion.
With a profound Music Legacy in the early 80's late 90's, and also known
as "THE
MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC". Knowing this incredible information about his
father is what inspired the Passion Logo. This is off of his roll and rock vinyls
cover and fuss it with modern urban fashion.
Abdullah’s Passion include: Fashion; Music, Photography, Design, Graphics
and Arts, which lead me to creating Yorks Passion.
