#ThrowbackThursday Tupac & Biggie Freestyle

Tupac & Biggie

With some of the attention this week focusing on Biggie's recently released autopsy, I decided to do this week's #ThrowbackThursday on Tupac & Biggie. Assuming that everyone already know the story here is the 95 freestyle battle between B.I.G and Pac. I also included videos of Biggie's NY famous corner Freestyle and a RARE NY Freestyle from Pac. We all know by now that Pac liked to play around and just have fun sometimes and in the footage you will see Pac having fun freestyling and arguing with a bootlegger lol. Hearing two of the greatest hip-hop MCs go head to head is exciting especially since we lack that in hip-hop now. Now a days people confuse beef and battling, and maybe if we got back to our roots of the genre the music would be more timeless, in my opinion. I'm not saying that today's artist doesn't make good music, but I am simply saying that today's artist music are not as classic as before. Some may say that these two artist are overrated, but are they really overrated if we're still listening to them, yet their music have been out for almost 2 decades? Music that you can play over and over again without getting sick of it is great music, and i'm not talking about only listening to that artist for a season or certain time period. How many new artist today could you see yourself and I mean like really see yourself, playing their same album in 25 years? The answer is not many. So whether you think 2Pac and Biggie are overrated or not, they are legends. R.I.P 2Pac & Big. Now check out the videos!
